Ben has over 30 years of financial management and business experience as an executive of some of the country's largest financial institutions. Starting in 1984 at KeyBank he was SVP of Key's 401(k) and retirement business. In 1996, he moved to Charles Schwab, where eventually he became Head of Investor Services, Schwab's retail organization, leading over 10,000 employees.
After retiring from Schwab, Ben has been working with Genstar Capital, a San Francisco based Private Equity firm where he sits on the Advisory Board and advises the firm in the financial services industry. Ben is a co-founder of The Mawby Brigeman Financial Group. In addition, he currently holds the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors – Cetera Financial Group, along with being a Board Member at ACA Group (a leading provider of technology-enabled outsourced compliance and distribution services to the investment management industry), Apex International, (a global leader in fund administration and fund accounting services), Cerity Partners (a Nationwide RIA/Wealth Management Group) and is also the Founder and CEO of Brigeman Enterprises, (a diversified holding company of business consulting and financial services).
